Ademola Lookman’s Atalanta dropped points once again, drawing 1-1 with US Cremonese.
Jamie Vardy broke the deadlock in the 78th minute, marking his first goal for the club.
Marco Brescianini restored parity for Atalanta in the 84th minute, rescuing a point for the visitors.
Lookman played the full 90 minutes as one of the number tens behind striker Nikola Krstovic but was unable to get on the scoresheet.
He completed 26 passes, created three chances, and had one successful dribble, yet did not register a single shot.
The result means Lookman has now gone six games without scoring in Serie A, a run he will be eager to end in the coming fixtures.
Juric Furious

After the game, Atalanta coach Ivan Juric was critical of his team’s performance in the first half.
“I did not like the team in the first half. They were sluggish, and it’s not just about the Champions League, because I didn’t like the way those who were rotated played either.
“After the break, we did the usual thing of creating a ton of chances and then allowing a counter-attack, which can happen in football.
“We did much better, but once again we had too many scoring opportunities go to waste.”

Juric finds himself in a difficult position as Atalanta’s coach.
The team has managed only two wins from eight Serie A games this season, with the rest ending in draws.
In the Champions League, they have had one win, one draw, and one defeat.
The fixtures aren’t coming easier, the Bergamo side will face AC Milan, Udinese, and Olympique Marseille in their next three matches.
Juric understands that a defeat or draw in those games would increase the pressure on him so he will be looking for improvements from his squad.
